Dear Mr. Miller,

I wish to apply for the position of Athletic Coach as advertised. I have the necessary skills and qualifications for this post, as well as the necessary experience. I therefore believe that what I have to offer to Collegiate Sports will be of great benefit to the company.

I hold a B.S degree in Physical Education from University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. I also have 5 years of experience working as an Athletic Coach at City Sports Club, Mobile, AL.

Apart from my understanding of fitness and the correct regimes and exercises required to stay fit, I also have full experience in all necessary administrative duties. I am familiar with evaluating individuals and scheduling games and training periods.

I also understand the importance of closely monitoring grades to decide player eligibility. I have experience in maintaining fitness and exercise equipment, as well as in ordering new or replacement parts within budget when and if required.

I also fully understand the psychological effect an Athletic Coach can have on pupils, and I strive at all level to set as good an example as possible for those who see their coach as a role model.

I feel sure that my proven ability to manage and maintain the highest standards as an Athletic Coach will be of the greatest benefit to Collegiate Sports, and I have confidence that I can make a significant contribution to the company.
